Innellea | The Belonging World Tour 2024

Working on INNELLEA’s visuals was challenging in many ways. First of all, his set combines a storytelling of fragile and vulnerable sentiments with intense and brute sounds. To match this, we created nearly 2 hours of non-looping content. Second, the composition of the 5 pillars designed by Studio Clemens Loeffelholz were a complex playground. We approached this by creating content that had a surface layer, like glass tiles, curtains, rain drops etc. to emphasise the geometric structure, while sometimes breaking completely with the boundaries of the pillars. Third, we had to keep the content adjustable to other screen formats. The content was created with Unreal Engine and TouchDesigner. We also took care of setting up a small carry-on case that allowed our operators to have a simple plug-and-play solution with timecode inputs, live video inputs and the media server.
